The classic palette is a staple on most runways, I feel. However, this popular combo gets an update for fall with modern accessories like tiny shades, fresh silhouettes featuring fur trims or feminine details, and simple hairstyles. Check out my favorite looks.
Tory Burch
I love the neck bows present throughout this collection. Super feminine and chic. Long fur coats seem to be a trend as well; I love how this is paired with all black separates with the classic white shirt.
Catherine Malandrino
The whole Paris-meets-New-York message gets across flawlessly. Again, a full fur coat is present here, but this time in an off-white. Super wearable, in my opinion, as long as you have the attitude of this model. The black belt adds a nice touch.
Marc Jacobs
I love the peplum silhouette with this classic-looking print. It could've been a boring frock, but with the almost-goth lacy extras and unique tights, this screams the style that is Marc Jacobs.
DKNY
I loved this entire collection. Donna Karan really does no wrong in my book (although I found her other pieces a little mundane). I would wear this entire outfit in a heartbeat. It's as if Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen raised a child together (future crazy plotline, anyone??). You have the classic school-girl pieces, like a collared shirt, plain skirt, and soft sweater that Blair used to rock before graduating high school, but it gets urban-edgy with the off-white, steel grey, and blacks that Serena flaunts on the streets of NYC. Plus, those lace-up heels are to die for.
Jason Wu
This menswear look is totally something Janelle Monae would rock, which is usually something I'm not into. However, looking at the pieces separately, I think the tuxedo jacket is amazing. The black lining keeps the white blazer from looking too spring, and again, fall is killing me with the neck bows. So cute! I love lightweight dresses, and I can picture this with one of the bold red coats from various other lines. Super wearable and chic, which I think is Jason Wu's advantage. I can't help but picture Michelle Obama in half of these fall looks.
Sheer/Lace
It looks like the all-over lace trend isn't going anywhere come fall. Whether it's a full-on lace gown or sheer cutouts, baring skin in a sexy, but still classy way, is very now.
Tory Burch
This taupe color has been prominent on the runways as well, but that's a usual for fall. Just an overall cute look, with the perfect model cast for it. The strawberry blonde is a nice, and kind of unusual, match with the outfit's color palette. Really shows its wearability, in my opinion.
Catherine Malandrino
How awesome is this? I mean, who knows what kind of complex undergarments this model had to wear, but this dress is just a work of art. I would love to see Rachel Bilson or Natalie Portman in a hemmed, youthful version of this.
Monique Lhuillier
OMG I am so in love with this. I wish I went to red carpet events, because I would totally wear this. It's so understated and sexy with its lace inset and deep sheer V-neck. Why does she makes the best gowns ever?

I'll end up posting more of my fav looks from collections I still have yet to see, in addition to London Fashion Week's looks. I'm so backed up! And Oscar dress coverage coming after tonight. I suck at keeping up with this.
